My review is more about the service offered by Shellenakay who manages the property. She has been super helpful, friendly, and also patient with all our questions! She was incredibly responsive to our calls. This facility is much like other facilities, but she was the reason we wanted to use this particular PS facility. Kudos!

This is the second time I brought a friend here and definitely not the last. Shalleenakaye is truly a rock star! Super knowledgeable and friendly, awesome customer service. Helped my friend find a short term solution for their moving process in no time at all. The lot itself is super secure despite being on Aurora. Buddy has no regrets. She answered all my questions, made sure I understood the options available, and helped me find exactly what I needed. I am writing this review because I witnessed firsthand how poorly my friend was treated at this Public Storage location, and I feel it is important for others to know what happened. On the morning of the incident, I personally called the facility twice to inform them that I was on my way to pick up a few cardboard boxes that had been left neatly on a cart the day before. I spoke directly with the manager, Shalleenakaye, who clearly told me there was no problem and that I could come pick everything up. Because of that, I drove over immediately, assuming everything was fine. However, by the time I arrived, the manager had already thrown away the boxes herself and added a $75 fee to my friend’s account, even though she had just told me it was okay and knew I was literally on the way. This felt extremely unfair and completely unnecessary. If I had been told the items needed to be removed immediately, I would have turned around and gone even faster. Instead, I was told “no problem,” only for my friend to be charged anyway. What makes the situation worse is that my friend was later given an eviction notice even though we communicated respectfully and followed instructions. On move-out day, I was also present when a new employee, Amar, kindly explained that the unit would be swept by staff and that everything looked fine. Despite this, my friend was charged yet another $75 cleaning fee two hours later, on top of the previous charges that still have not been reversed. From my experience dealing with the staff directly, the communication at this location is inconsistent and misleading. Customers should not be told that something is “okay,” only to be charged afterward. I hope this review brings attention to how situations like this are being handled. Based on what I witnessed, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
