Got hold of AI gal that was very helpful. I wanted a one week spot to park my RV. This location did not have RV storage, but Whitney did. Talked to person to make reservation. $35 deposit OK. Then I got an email with $161.29. I BLEW UP. For one week. We pay for the first month and get the next month free. I want one week. We went back and forth for what seemed to be five minutes and I told him to cancel the order and reimburse the deposit. He finally backed down and said he would cancel the monthly fee and we could have the spot for the deposit fee. That was a good deal with sheltered area with power plug. When someone calls for reservations, the guys need to be upfront about having to pay the first month and THEN get a free month. I did not want a month. I wanted a week. Tell the person there are no weekly fees. You can bargain from there. I can be a hot headed, impatient person at times and your guy found out that I can get loud. He handled it with courtesy and patience..GOOD JOB and I apologize. Be up front on price before free month. 'Nuf said

I find that it is easier now with Go Store It to pay my bill each month, so that’s nice. No more problems with that. Customer service is good on the phone, and this makes me happy. I’m not comfortable, though, with the fact that there is no longer a human being at the local office; in place of a person is a screen with the image of a person on the wall when one enters the building, and I honestly do not like that. It’s more difficult for me to handle as well since I have hearing loss and cannot understand the image on that screen, and this means struggling to get a problem resolved which would not be a problem with a live person. I did this once and have not been back to that office again. The other concern is that this company started posting all these auctions they’re having of people’s belongings who did not make their monthly payments or were late, printing their names and so forth in the newspaper - this is so cruel. I’ve never seen anything like this. And the very first letter I got from this company said something to the effect of: “If you don’t like our rules, then take your things and get out”. Those are the positives and negatives but things seem to be improving with the company somewhat, and I hope they continue to improve. I loved the company before this one because they were warm and friendly. Maybe this one will adapt to a small town and it’s warm, personable, and friendly ways.
