I rented the storage space online on February 18, 2026. However, I never moved in never picked up a lot or anything. I received the call today from the storage place stating that I will be getting my full refund since I never moved in. I responded and told her OK. The lady informed me over the phone that she was gonna let her property manager know so that they can process my refund. I then received a call from the district manager, saying that there was an issue and I was upset about a refund. I explained to him that I didn’t even know anything about a refund until the property contacting me stating I will be getting the full refund since I never moved in. He stated that they could only refund me $35 +5 extra dollars which is a total of $40 instead of my $120. I asked why I wasn’t getting my full refund. He stated because the storage unit was taken off the website. I responded and told him obviously public storage needs the money more than I do. Anytime I have moved I always use public storage, but that will never happen again.

( not ) reached out to public storage, beat out U-Haul by a long shot! the young lady there at the 1960 location she was so very helpful, she explained everything to me, showed me to the bin I would be renting. she was so helpful from the time I walked through the door. thank you for your awesome customer service skills, you went above and beyond to help me in making a hard decision easy. I would honestly recommend the establishment to whoever is in need of storage rental. thank you again public storage
