They charged me about $4,000 in penalty because I was seriously injured and couldn't return to the proper location. For starters - I've never written a bad review in my entire life. Due to a serious injury during my move to Charlotte, I couldn't return the Uhaul to the original out of state location, so I returned my U Haul here instead and tried to contact them with an explanation (I was told to expect a call from them, but they never called). Instead of receiving a call, they went ahead and billed me thousands of dollars (more than triple the cost of the original rental) as a penalty. I offered to substantiate my claim by showing them medical records from my Emergency Room visit in an effort to get them to reduce the charge, but they didn't care. This is by far and away the worst customer experience I've ever had!

MACPlace is enormous... Dennis set me up in my unit last week so just had to sign and pay.. super cheap prices compared to other storage places I've used in the past and they rent vans and trucks super cheap as well! Definitely the place to go!
Lindsay JeanDennis provided amazing customer service. Super friendly snd very hospitable! The place was clean like new and he was mindful that I was pregnant a gave me a unit close to where the loading door was plus the bathrooms which was another bonus.
