Easy move-in and friendly manager
So far, Room to Spare has been excellent for us. The manager worked with me on move-in and has explained everything very well. I have used several storage units through the years, and this facility has had about the simplest start I could have imagined.

Very clean and staff is excellent to work with..
After I made an online registration, I went to the office and they had me in and out within a few minutes after completing the paperwork. Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions.

The process to rent a unit was thorough and easy. The representative gave me all the information I needed to access the location, the building itself, and find my unit quickly. Any time I've called to update my information or ask for help, the representatives have been knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Room to Spare near the Albany airport.

Matt CAwful facility. Will charge extra for a locking gate that is always open. Advertise a clean facility that is actually never cleaned. There is a mouse problem and when talking to the owners about mice destroying stuff in the unit they will laugh at you and call you stupid. The owners will call you a bad customer despite being the absolute worst owners they can be. DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE. Go anywhere else or you'll be better just throwing your stuff away. Only rent here if you love mice poop and pee all over your stuff. EDIT: I do not see a way to reply to the owner comment but my girlfriend and I reached out to the storage facility before I made this review to try and make things right and they called her stupid and questioned her ability to read. They then informed that after this month they refuse to rent to her. Honestly no big deal there because we are storing our items somewhere that cares about their customers and doesn't belittle them and treat them like garbage. They are lucky I can't give 0/5 stars.
Madison PTerrible experience. I had to find another rental space at the last minute because I tried to move in on a Saturday and no one was working…The code they gave me did not work for the main door and it appeared as though they expected me to use the elevator shaft to get to my storage unit (even though there is clear signage encouraging against this due to it being unsafe.) Do yourself a favor and find someone reputable.
