I originally needed the storage unit and after searching every single storage unit nearby for the best price this was the best location I was able to get a 5x5 for $21. The same size room was 40 50 60 all the way up to $140 plus at other locations Manager was great and made everything simple and quick recommend

Great experience so far! Rented the unit online and accessed same day. I had questions and the office staff was kind, thorough, professional and very helpful. Escorted me to my unit and explained everything in detail. The facility is clean, secure, and very well maintained. Access hours are convenient, and I felt confident my belongings were safe. Pricing is fair with no hidden fees. I would definitely recommend this storage unit to anyone looking for a reliable and stress-free storage solution.
I was able to reserve a 5x10 unit online, and the whole process was incredibly smooth. All the required paperwork was sent to me ahead of time, which made move-in easy. Today was a genuinely eye-opening experience at CubeSmart. I have been a customer for roughly four to five months. If you rent a unit here, you quickly learn this is almost entirely a self-service operation, especially if you sign up online or by phone. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way. On move-in day, and on most days since, no one is ever in the office. I eventually realized through the app that my gate access code was already available. Later, I learned the app can open the gate automatically as well. With no staff present, I decided to locate my unit so I would know where it was before unloading. When I arrived, the unit had a green breakable lock. I removed it since it was my unit. Inside was a welcome packet, a lock, and everything I needed. Had I not taken that initiative, I would not have known any of this. Despite being repeatedly contacted before move-in about completing my rental, no one ever explained this process. Fast forward to today. I called the 800 number regarding a late fee on this month’s rent. I understand penalties exist for a reason. I fell behind and requested a one-time courtesy removal of the late fee. For full context, I carry renter’s insurance. However, because no one was in the office at move-in, I still had to pay for CubeSmart’s insurance the first month. I did not dispute it. I have paid my rent every month, including the late fee, without hesitation. Even with the late fee, this unit is still cheaper than the one I moved from, so I accepted the cost. I have had a late payment every month and never once asked for a waiver until now. One request. One time. The 800 number advised that each location operates independently and that the facility manager would need to approve the request. Unsurprisingly, the manager did not answer when the corporate representative called. This is consistent with my experience. Phones go unanswered and the office is unstaffed unless corporate initiates a callback. Eventually, the person identifying herself as the general manager called me back. I explained the situation clearly. She declined without discussion, stating she was just doing her job. That response led to a broader realization. This is the prevailing tone in America. Everyone is just doing their job. Contracts matter. Context does not. Compassion is irrelevant. If you violate terms, you are penalized. If you cross a line, you are removed. Morality plays no role. Humanity is optional. I have attended multiple ICE protests in the past. I no longer will. CubeSmart clarified something for me. Enforcement is enforcement. Whether it is fees, removal, or deportation, the justification is always the same: it’s in the contract, it’s the law, it’s the job. So let’s all take notes. This is how the system works. Do not expect grace. Do not expect flexibility. Do not expect understanding. And with that clarity, so ends my business with CubeSmart.
