I am a breast cancer survivor w 6 reconstructive surgeries and more to go. I decided to come to prime storage in Derry Nh as I left my previous storage facility after 4 or more years due to repeated thefts of most of my prized furniture and things I stored while I was in treatment I left there came to prime storage to finally feel confident as they had security on everything in there facility as my last one didn’t . At the 2 month mark of being at Prime I get an email of them raising my ren from 130.00 to 170.00 I was appallled that’s awful not rental cap they just raise rent when you move in? My storage facility was awful For no security but this new place just raises rent immediately even at the last place they didn’t raise your rent for a year just like living in an apartment. Who raises rent your second month being there? Then I speak to worker he bartered with me on amount, I said no I refuse to pay that much I just moved here. He then said your rent will stay the same. Now on my third month another notice with my rent raising to 184.00 from 130.00 that included my insurance. I pay my storage 2 weeks before it’s due every time.Thats just wrong on every level now I have to pay for another U-Haul and movers to somewhere else?? I am beyond upset and frustrated I left my last storage place of 3 bedroom townhouse to a 1 bedroom of storage to rent gauging at Prime storage when I have 3 upcoming surgeries to do with cancer. Please don’t move your storage here. I have uploaded a picture of the rent increase they just sent

I did the online process for a spot and was sent a confirmation email with a unit spot number and a confirmation number. Then when I contact them the next day I was told that there are no spots available even though i have a spot assigned with a confirmation number. Their response is they can give me a spot at a different location at a rate of over 40% more per month. They wouldnt even honor the price confirmed by their system the night befor. Seems like a really poor way to do business.

BEWARE! I was initially impressed by the customer service of Dakota R when I signed up for this storage unit and was overall happy with my experience. My rate was $127 a month which was great. He told me that the contract outlines there may be an increase in monthly pricing and I SPECIFICALLY asked him how much are we talking, usually within $10 or it could go up $50+? And he said WITHIN $10. I just got an email for my 4th month telling me there is a $100 increase to $227 a month! I can’t believe he looked right at me and lied like that. Absolutely deceiving. I believe he was a manager too.

I would give them a zero but unfortunately, I cannot. They breached section 41 of my girlfriend‘s lease and then they told me that I was trespassing when I never even signed a lease under the agreement of the hostility agreement it does not say and parties it says the individual do not do business with these guys. We have been waiting 14 months for our Amazon referral gift card that we keep getting told that it’s processing called multiple times with no solution have called corporate with no solution. Customer service does not seem to be their strong point. Also be aware of the price increases that happens every couple of months and it is a drastic increase
