I didn’t appreciate needing to rush back to finish a move due to the first movers not finishing. I was extremely hungry and need to eat something before the new movers could arrive an hour later. I felt very rushed and like i was on a horrible lunch break. Not a good experience at all. you’re lucky to get three stars from me. Old storage with no security. Was told that there have been multiple break-ins to units. You need to get it more secure.

I would never recommend CubeSmart on Horizon & Horizon Ridge. What happened to us…. and to several other storage units… was unacceptable. Our belongings were stolen, including items with deep sentimental value, and the most disturbing part was the clear lack of care or urgency from CubeSmart. When police arrived, they advised us to immediately remove everything because of how unsafe and unprotected the facility appeared. It was even suggested that this may have been an inside job. That alone should have been enough for CubeSmart to take action… yet nothing changed. No increased security, no support, no accountability. We are deeply sad for everyone who has lost everything they trusted this company to protect. We felt the same grief — it is not just “stuff.” It is memories, family history, irreplaceable pieces of our lives. We will move forward and not stay in a victim mindset — but others deserve to be warned before placing their belongings in this location. This facility failed at the most basic promise — to keep people’s belongings safe, and it needs to be held accountable.

My unit was broken into not too long ago (December 2025). Now that I see so many people have posted on Google Review how their units got broken into, I can’t believe the CubeSmart hasn’t installed security cameras inside to prevent further thefts. This shows that the company doesn’t care. If something like this happens to their customers, you would think they would do something to make sure it won’t happen to other customers - but it doesn’t seem like that is the case because I see there were multiple occasions (a year ago, 7 month ago, 5 month ago, 3 month ago and a week ago) someone units were broken into and this keeps happening! CubeSmart, what have you done about it? At this point, this is a business negligent and they are liable! There is a rip in the fence between freeway and the building where anyone can fit in through to get into the RV area. We found 9 other units that got broken into near my unit (you could tell by how their doors look). The gate is broken so it’s been partially open all week that anyone can fit in to get inside (blocking it with a truck doesn’t stop anyone walking inside!) Until they install cameras inside or somehow increase their security measure, I highly discourage anyone to rent a unit from this place.

Terrible experience! On 12/31 I booked over the phone Confirmation #5007752875-1-11260230..Received email Confirmation, same day, showing move in date of 1/3/26. Total due $85.25. Was supposed to be 1/2 off 1st mos rent plus $29.00 one time fee. I also received 2 text confirming this and stating I could complete transaction via online or in person at check-in. When we got there on 1/3, I was told the special had been cancelled and I had to pay $153.75. I was ready to find someplace else but my husband said just do it because we had traveled from Arizona with a full truck load of household items and he didn’t want to run all over trying to find another storage facility. We accepted as we really had no choice or we could spend the day trying to find somewhere else. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE FACILITY. They should stand up to their commitments, not do a bait and switch. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
