We have had 3 units here for about a year and a half. We finally consolidated to one. This storage facility is great! It's climate controlled units are great & clean. When it's hot outside, it is nice & cool inside. I have had other climate controlled units & they barely seem like the air is on but not here. It feels great inside. We have never had any problems with Cool Storage, & we highly recommend them. Plus, they have rolling dollies to help load & unload within the facility.

Boo!!!...Boo!!!...I searched Google for "storage units near me" and found "Cool Storage America" through a site called SquareFoot. Made the reservation online, printed out the confirmation and went to Cool Storage America the next day to get the unit. Upon arrival I was told I HAD to have a credit card to get the unit. I told him there was NOTHING online or in the confirmation paperwork in regards to a credit card being mandatory to get the unit. He said well "you went through SquareFoot, but they don't have all our information", which is a load of cow manure. They have the available storage units, prices, address, insurance requirements, etc., so if something is MANDATORY you would think it would definitely be included on 3rd party websites OR perhaps email or call the customers who have reservations to make sure they know what is required to get their storage unit. I also asked if I could still get the unit (pay initially with cash) and then add the credit card (my credit card was at home) and he rudely said no you HAVE to have a credit card. He was being low key racist, but guess what? Exodus 14:14 speaks for me, and I guarantee this company will not stay in business much longer or see another profit. Boo!!!

The facility was very clean every time we visited. There are roller carts readily available when we needed them and they really did come in handy to help move our stuff to the unit. You have a code that has to be entered each time to open the door making me feel very safe and my stuff secure. The employees were always kind and very helpful. If you let them know you are moving a lot in or out they will have the doors held open so you don’t have to keep putting in your code. All in all the unit was clean and nice and i will Recommend Cool Storage America to everyone!

This is one of the coolest places in the Memphis area!!!! Great place to store your household valuables for short or long periods of time. Moving, down sizing or just want to keep family treasures safe until you use later. This is the place!! I have personally toured this facility it’s clean, neat, and brand new. They've have an excellent security system, ramps for large items and places for trucks to deliver to the inside temperature controlled units. Right outside Shelby county line and easy to get to. I would personally recommend using Cool Storage of American right away. Especially if you are housing valuables right now, before the weather gets hot in your old storage unit.

Cool Storage America has been a life-saver during the major remodel of our Collierville home. The location is so convenient and safe which is especially important with two small kids in tow. I know all of our furniture and precious memories will be in safe-keeping at this temperature-controlled storage facility until our house is livable again. And, this is so much better than moving our personal belongings from room to room and floor to floor as construction is ongoing.
