$0.60 / sqftI hadn't used remote storage before. I visited the site and then reserved online. Lesha, the customer service representative on site, was fabulous. She had all the information I needed and was very helpful, both on my initial visit and when I moved in.
Clean, accessible and econmical
Good storage unit place, pretty standard. Service was good. Wish I could access the unit past 5/6pm though.
This was great! Very helpful!
Smooth and convenient process. Trensparent pricing. Well maintained
Truly one of the worst facilities full of poor security and mice. Our storage unit was broken into, and staff provided no assistance in identifying when it happened or who did it. They did not provide information on next steps nor any remediation after. The elevators are frequently broken and there are few if any carts available most of the time. The promotional price they provide may be attractive but don't rent here. It has been nothing but trouble and headaches not worth any savings or convenience. I wish I could do more to caution against this place.
The manager (Shwa) and all of the employees I’ve interacted with at the two locations of the Mpls North Loop Public Storage franchise locations have been wonderful human beings. More importantly, they help storage clients respond to difficult situations with calm energy and real solutions. In other words they are true professionals who transact with care in place of the usual callousness and financial abuses associated with storage facilities. These precise abuses are why NYC is suing Extra Space Storage in 2026. Given how these PS locations have provided outstanding services, and their reasonable pricing on everything ranging from rent; rent increases that are not gouging; reasonable insurance fees; and late fees that can be waived within reason—I imagine they will find themselves on the right side of the historical, coming lawsuits and legislation against storage unit abuses by storage companies happening presently and in our very near future. Since you gave a choice, choose Public Storage.
DON’T RENT HERE I rented a unit here for over two years. During that time, my unit was broken into and thousands of dollars’ worth of items were stolen. Unfortunately, I continued renting afterward. This past fall, I scheduled my move-out after they raised the rent to a price I could no longer afford. When I removed my belongings, I discovered that multiple items were covered in rat urine and droppings, destroying hundreds of dollars’ worth of clothing and furniture, including an ottoman. The infestation was severe, and because I was pregnant, I was unable to safely clean up the rat waste. Additionally, the facility no longer had a dumpster available, unlike when I originally rented the unit. Despite these conditions, I was denied further access to the unit and then charged for an additional month plus multiple fees, totaling $750, for not cleaning rat urine and droppings while pregnant.
I had signed a rental agreement but was ultimately unable to rent from this location due to the likelihood of needing earlier access hours than are currently allowed. Jessica's incredible service resulted in me not being charged for my own mistake. I regret not being able to rent here due to the location, cleanliness, and service. I hope in the future the window of access hours will be expanded. Regardless, you will be in excellent hands should you be lucky enough to rent a space with Jessica's support.
