I would imagine that most of the reviews here given for discounts or begged for cause I want to share my experience I had today over the phone with an extremely Rude, Unprofessional and Discourteous woman by the name of Terri who works at this facility. Who called me today and spoke to me like absolute dirt. Its regarding me being late on my payment, which I admit I am. I forgot all about this bill as I am out of the country due to family emergency. And the call reminded me I needed to pay only to be told I need to be present with a Cashiers check which I can't do obviously. I was willing to pay with an alternative method only to be told my stuff was 'crap' in Terris words, this upset me immensely and when I asked could a Regional manager or supervisor to call me to resolve this, she abruptly said 'No they can't' and refused to oblige me any further. The entire tone and verbiage was extremely hostile and rude for someone calling my phone. The stuff in my unit(D671) isnt even worth 80 bucks. And they expect 327 dollars from me which they wont get at auction but i was willing to pay it, but after being treated like this its not about the money or even the stuff at this stage. Its about a total lack of customer service on offer and being spoke to worse then a dog and calling peoples belongings 'crap' which I wont tolerate as she is in the storage business and the goal should be that peoples belongings no matter what it is should be secure and treated with respect and privacy and clearly MiniUs employees dont share that sentiment which should be paramount in such a business and certainly doesn't instill much faith in anyones stuff being safe there. The call is recorded for reference. If a Regional Manager or higher could please call me to resolve this id appreciate it.
Extremely inconvenient. I have only been here a couple of months. They are constantly closed and unavailable by phone. When I first came here I should’ve known better. Closed office with a “will be back” sign two different times. After getting a unit, it just got worse The first call I wanted to upgrade my unit. No call back. The second call I needed a truck and a bigger unit. No call back. Third attempt I actually showed up. Employee in the parking lot refusing to help because its lunch. Im changing companies.
(Saturday, June 14, 2025) Mini U Storage is hands down the best self-storage facility I’ve ever used. From the start, they impressed me with their unbeatable move-in specials: 2 months free, a free truck rental, a free lock, and even free use of shelves if needed. They also provide full access to carts and dollies, which made my move smooth and stress-free. The customer service is exceptional overall. Theresa handled all my paperwork professionally—she’s very knowledgeable and efficient. Even though I didn’t appreciate the sarcasm in her tone at times, she was still honest and made the process seamless. It’s no surprise Mini U Storage has such a high Google rating. They truly look out for their customers. If you're seeking reliable, affordable, and customer-focused storage, I highly recommend this place.
I have been a Mini U Storage customer for about fifteen years maybe more. This company has done nothing but tried to raise my rent each year. I have asked the manager why are they raising my rent and they said they didn't know. Every year in February like clockwork I get a letter from Mini U saying they are raising my rates. I am sick of being taking advantage of by them so I figured it is time to write a real and honest view of what it is like being a Mini U customer.
Won an auction for only $10. Never got any notifications that I won the auction. I called to discuss the matter with the manager. Her attitude came up as very rude and she was not willing to rectify the issue when I know she could've. Will never do any business with them
