Was told that we had limited time to be out of our house , or which we have lived at for 15 years , my gma died here , my mom passed away a couple years ago here , so you could only imagine the things that was stored here , so I immediately started going thru stuff freaking out scared I was gonna lose things of sentimental value!! So I got those things out first, the lady i talked to was super nice I had to pay for insurance which was fine with me , however after 3 months my rate went up to $201 , I said nope theres no way, I found a place cheaper , nicer and they keep up with stuff , as I was moving out of hometown storage I had noticed some of my items were wet no big deal the majority of my stuff was in totes , however mine and my daughters subs & amps were destroyed , a sewing machine my mom had for year was soaked, I have written 2 emails , with no response !! My concern here if they make you pay for insurance then how to do you about filing a claim ? Sewing machine is NOT replaceable it held sentimental value that had been passed down thru my family , my the subs and amps were not cheap by no means !! I have a 3 foot porcelain indian doll of my moms that also got wet , SEVERAL of the totes on the outside was wet , I am pretty sure my tanning bed no longer works !!! If you need to get a storage , I would definitely go to Roseland Storage , amazing people , great service , and he stays on top of the up keep !!! He personally comes there and locks and unlocks the gates every single day and has some of the best surveillance cameras Ive seen !!! Im sorry Hometown but you need to do better !!! You can reach out to me all you want , I will only have discussion thru emails that way everything is documented !!! Also I need to know how to file an insurance claim!!!

The manager, April, was more than simply informative and helpful. She was also very easy to talk to and took the time to answer questions and find the best deal for me , ultimately winning my business over extra space in Austin. Definitely hometown storage is a self storage of choice with a clean location, secure access, and great customer service not to mention nearly perfect price.
