The facility looks decent, as expected for a storage facility. Move in was very easy and all done online. However when we arrived the gate was wide open and not working. The exit gate wouldn't open at all for us so we had to turn around and exit out of the entrance gate. I assumed this was just a bad day. Today I went back up to the unit and same thing only opposite gates. I removed my vehicle from the storage unit as I want it locked behind a gate as stated it would be.
Today I purchased a unit Ms.Jasmine was very courteous. She went over my contract with me and she assured that after next month, I would pay a the full price . It would be my monthly bill rate there afterThe facility is decent I. size .
I’ve been paying over $300 a month for a storage unit here, and while I rarely need assistance, the few times I have needed help have been extremely frustrating. During posted business hours, the office is almost never staffed. On the one occasion I was actually able to catch someone there, the staff member opened the door and told me verbatim, “You can’t come in right now.” There was no “just a moment,” nothing remotely welcoming or professional. (her shift didn’t start for 6 mins) I had originally come in because I needed my lock cut. I filled out the required form and spoke with the staff member about it. We even discussed that she would call me so I could bring a new lock so my unit wouldn’t be left unsecured. Luckily, I later found my key and no longer needed the lock cut. However, after telling me she was on break and couldn’t help me at the time, she called me anyway, completely unprovoked. Since I never asked for a call, the interaction felt antagonistic and unnecessary. During that call she told me, “Your lock wasn’t going to be cut anyway,” which was surprising considering I had already completed the paperwork and had spoken with her directly about the process. After waiting quite a bit of time just to catch someone on shift to request the service, being told it was never going to happen was frustrating and confusing. I’m writing this review mainly for accountability. When you’re paying this much for storage, you expect basic accessibility and professionalism from staff. At this point, I’m not confident that my unit won’t be opened when I’m not present, and that’s a concerning feeling to have about a place that’s supposed to securely store your belongings. As many others have mentioned, the rent hikes have been insane ($100 for me) but my real concern is accessibility and professionalism. It’s truly the bare minimum.
I walked in and wasn't sure if or how someone could help my unique problem with moving units and/or adjusting the terms of my unit. Iwana listened to my situation and provided a great deal of insight. I was able to make an informed decision and not have to search for alternatives elsewhere.
Their rates keep going up....Monday 1/28/2019 just went there today and again the plow company has snow plowed up against the doors so you can't get in without shoveling don't they know how to plow away from the buildings and leave a little snow that fell and not push it up into it the Door openings.... Ridiculous!!!!!! Update 1/28/2022 I took those pictures three different times and you think the plow company would do a better job... clear away the snow not all the way in but close to the openings as possible .. I think the name of company is in the pics stay away from them !!! . Manager there is wonderful...
