My five star review is specifically(and only) for Whitney. Whitney has been an incredible customer service representative of Public Storage. I’ve had so many issues with this company, but each time I talk to her, she resolved and de-escalated every issue. I’m super grateful to have moved out of my unit and I can only credit Whitney for assisting me with this. If it weren’t for Whitney this would be a completely different review for Public Storage. The ONE thing that Public Storage did great with is hiring her and I hope she gets a raise! Five star service Whitney thank you so much.
Horrible customer service. Called and asked to speak to the property manager and was told the person i was talking to was the property manager. When i brought up the concern that i spoke with public storage support last week on the gate not recognizing my number when i text it "open" from my authorized number it was giving me a response that my number was not recognized. I was then transferred to another employee that then said he was the property manager and that the "open" text sign was only for people if they get locked in the facility which makes no sense because the since it hung up facing the outside coming in on the MAIN GATE. The Bluetooth on there gates only registers about 2 feet from the device and you have to wait a few minutes for it to register. They lock the roll up gates after the employees leave even though the facility is open until 9 pm and they have a block on the only accessible ramp so you cant wheel up big items cause the gate is closed and the ramp is blocked. In the pictures below the right ramp is closed off so you cant use that and the left ramp is being blocked. How do they expect you to move heavy furniture past 5pm if the roll up doors are locked up ???? This has been going on for about 3 weeks now and no follow up from them. I have to keep on them just to get answers.
Loved my experience at Public Storage, Bob and Whitney are the BEST! I truly appreciate Whitney for being so helpful during my move in, move out process, she’s a gem. Bob was also very helpful as well when i was lost in the storage unit, he’s very knowledgeable. There’s one more person in the office, i forgot his name but he was super nice as well! I was gonna get rid of my units but I’m gonna keep one now because i trust the staff at this location!
EDITED REVIEW 2/19/2026: I wanted to update my previous concern. After I reached out, the team responded immediately and helped resolve the issue. The manager on duty was kind, professional, and very helpful in locating my belongings and ensuring everything was handled properly. It appears I was caught in the crosshairs of a management transition, which likely caused the earlier communication issues. Once staff became aware of the situation, they stepped in quickly and even waived fees to make things right. I truly appreciate the prompt assistance and professionalism shown. Thank you for turning a stressful moment into a positive experience. _______________________________________________________________ Hi — I moved out today (1/20/2026) and realized afterward that I accidentally left a matching set of suitcases at the side entrance door nearest the ramp. I tried calling the facility, but it appears the phone system requires an active account number to route to answering service and my account appears to be disconnected even though it’s paid through the end of the month. I also stopped by around 2 PM, but the office was locked and no staff were present. I left a voicemail and am hoping someone can please check whether the suitcases were moved to a lost-and-found or secured area. I’m happy to come by tomorrow if they’re still there. Thank you — I’d really appreciate the assistance.
It’s states 6am-9pm but that’s just the hours for the gate property manager only onsite 9:30am until 5:30 if you come before six or after five, no one will be able to help you or you will not be able to use the loading dock When I finally did meet an employee, she was very nice and her customer service was commendable, but due to the issues I’ve already encountered and having to rent my truck for another day. This experience was less than pleasant. Also call center could be be a little more informative about business hours and location when scheduling someone a unit
