The place is old and the prices are fair. I have to say the staff is excellent!! Every time I've been there I've personally seen the general manager cleaning out old units, pulling weeds and other tasks to keep this facility in as good a shape as possible. For this reason alone I would use this facility again. You don't find this kind of service and self driven employees to much anymore. I appreciate your staff! Move out date 12/28/25 Thanks

Darlene was nothing short of amazing! She was knowledgeable, kind and trustworthy. She showed us several units and was on top of pricing. I will definitely recommend Prime Storage to anybody looking for a safe and secure storage center.

I’ve been a patron of Prime for the past 10-12 years and never had as many issues as I’ve had the past year. Not just this location but also used the location in Southington, CT. Let me preface by saying..this is MY experience especially the past 8-12 months. My life is an open book so here goes. First…you get a discount if you leave a 5* review. I thought it was just a Curtis (more on him in a minute) thing, but even the call center confirmed it in not so many words. My first few interactions since coming back to CT were great..then it went south, including him charging my card without my consent and no, I did NOT have that specific card on autopay. I’m on disability, so my money goes to rent, bills and then pay my storage usually when it’s at day 40. Curtis goes to a different location and they get someone new. All was fine and dandy, but…and there’s always a but..let’s just say they don’t go above and beyond as they say. How? We worked out a thing to where I would pay x amount on Monday and it WAS agreed upon by Andy, Darlene and myself, (even though my disability doesn’t go in until Wednesday..said I would pay that amount on Monday, then I get a call “that amount has been changed”. Then they send me a detailed statement where that amount was not even recognized..so there’s just a ton of double talking…and now I’m gonna lose a ton of family heirlooms because as it is…an agreement with them doesn’t mean anything. I hate leaving negative reviews…but in this case, it leaves me no choice. They are nothing more than a bunch of lairs and thieves. Maybe others might have had good experiences…but this has been a complete S show the past 6 months to a year.

I would recommend Prime Storage to anyone looking for a clean, well secured storage facility. The Brookfield location was great and I have no complaints. Plus, all of the employees I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE !!! My rent for the storage doubled, doubled not a little bit not $20 doubled my door didn't even open right. After it snowed they left the 2 ft pile of snow out in front of my unit I had to shovel before I could even get in ! I didn't even have the unit at 25 Del Ray I had to go to the end of the deserted "Goat Path" through pothole after pothole nearly rolling over my U-Haul to get to the gate at the end. My gate code NEVER worked NOT ONCE. I had to call EVERY SINGLE TIME to get in !!! The lighting at night is laughable. Do yourself a giant favor call anywhere but there.
