This was my first time using a storage facility. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Mayra made it a very clear and smooth process. She had immaculate customer service. I appreciate her help and I’m looking forward to recommending my service to others.

So you know, I kept that storage because all my son's things were there... My son, before he was 3 years old was abducted, taken and held in Korea. I fought for 2 1/2 years for his return and held that storage so that when he was returned, he would have all his things. When I started that storage, it cost, if I recall $130 or so and you raised your prices continually until I was being charged $300+ I have all those things and more in storage elsewhere for $60/month! I spent over $300,000 to return my son to the US and when I tried to clear out my storage after all these years, you locked me out and charged me for an extra month! You can keep your money and I will write a review, with my story to every review site there is! I asked you all to work with me and you don't care And I will write that review for every day, month and year my son was kidnapped So you can understand humanity and how much you charged only to keep our memories, while those memories were the only think we could hang onto! What could have been resolved in a few days you dragged out to another month. Now my friend is having to rent a uhaul in order to vacate your sad premises! Thank you for nothing!

The staff is great and nice. My rating is based on the pricing. I got in on a promotional deal. At the time of rental it stated that the rate will increase to the market. I inquired an approximation. I was told it would be around the rate before the discount shown online. That would have been great if that was true. Instead, I get a notice of an increase of $60+ more than what I was expecting. I moved my unit from another facility because of the price gouging. I'm beginning to think storage units are just a rip off. Not understanding why increase the amount when nothing changes except to make a profit. The turn over has to be causing a loss. I'll be moving my unit soon as I am able.

Great Service Right Before Closing!! I arrived at 5:56 PM just four minutes before closing and Jameel was still incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. He took the time to show me the storage unit, answered all my questions, and explained everything clearly without making me feel rushed. Very knowledgeable and respectful. I really appreciated his patience and dedication, especially so close to closing time. Great customer service!

I love the friendliness and , kindness of Carlsbad Self Storage!! They go above and, beyond to help you. The facility is super clean and , it is secure and , watched over after hours!! My storage unit I am renting is also very clean! I highly recommend renting from this company. Even the other renters are super nice!! Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
